Michele is a skilled and empathic listener. Her clients benefit from her caring, supportive disposition and extensive industry experience.

Michele has over 20 years of experience working in the field of childhood education. She is a qualified Pre-School Mothercraft Nurse, Registered Teacher and Counsellor. Michele has vast experience in both the public and private sectors of education. Michele's passion and expertise has allowed employment with Autism Queensland and Education Queensland in both Special Education and as an Advisory Visiting Teacher in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a medically diagnosed Coeliac, Michele has knowledge in the area of gluten and dairy free diets and is aware of the concerns relating to Coeliac Disease. As a counsellor, Michele employs a range of theories and practical experience to support individuals, families and government agencies, to assist children to gain positive outcomes and goals.

After many years of working with children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Michele was continually being approached by parents and caregivers to provide in home programs and counselling for their child. Aware that these needs could not be legally or ethically met without specific qualifications and employment changes, Michele graduated from university with a Masters Degree in School Guidance and Counselling and created Positive Intervention Counselling and Behaviour Management Services.

Michele has contracts with several government agencies and provides counselling to many private clients. Her flexible, friendly and confident approach coupled with practical teaching experience allows for the best possible outcomes for the client and their family.
