About the workshop!

Research has clearly established the effectiveness of providing specific positive behaviour support to students with autism. Often these interventions are taught in small group situations or 1:1 ratio. However, it is possible and desirable to incorporate these effective educational supports within the school classroom environments.

This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and review critical components for establishing and providing effective behavioural interventions and strategies within the classroom. The workshop will provide specific recommendations for classroom structure, schedules and environmental influences to allow for positive outcomes.

Who should attend this workshop?

This workshop is highly recommended for educators, support staff, guidance counsellors, avts, parents and consultants. Numbers are limited, book quickly to avoid disappointment.
